Decisions

Decisions are recorded in different places because they answer different questions. Together, these registers make it possible to see what was decided, why it was decided and which part of the programme it affects.

    How to read the records

A decision record explains the context, the options considered and the resulting direction. Its status matters: an accepted record is not the same as a proposal, and a programme meeting record does not by itself create a standard or a binding governance rule. Follow the status and authority information on each record when using it.
