SPDTF working groups
Working groups are one canonical family inside SPDTF. Practitioners contribute evidence, language, examples and judgement; facilitators make that meaning reviewable and machine-readable. Registration or a generated page does not confer membership, consensus or standards authority.
How the groups work
The working-group member guide explains joining and access, Teams discussions, SharePoint source intake, meetings, model review and decision boundaries. It distinguishes current operating guidance from proposed lifecycle rules.

Each group works through the same review path, while retaining ownership of its local meaning:
- charter, scope, competency questions and decision owner;
- participation routes, evidence register and source handling;
- glossary, dictionary, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, resources and relationships;
- candidate versions, open questions, feedback dispositions and change history;
- coverage assessment, technical views and generated exports.
Interoperability Working Group
Interoperability is a peer of the domain and scheme groups, not a child of one group. Representatives agree only the boundary arrangements needed for exchange: a small common boundary, a context map, qualified mappings, and shared identifier, provenance, versioning and change conventions.
The DBT Smart Data group is OPDA-internal, not government-established and cannot confer statutory status.
