Your experience can improve property information

The Open Property Data Association (OPDA) is inviting surveyors, valuers and people who use their findings to help develop the Smart Property Data Trust Framework. The working groups are developing shared definitions for property information so that people can understand and exchange it more clearly.

Why it matters

An inspection or valuation produces findings that others rely on. Observations, professional judgements and limitations need to remain distinguishable when those findings are shared.

Where your experience helps

Help explain how measurements and findings should carry their basis, qualifications and uncertainty beyond the original report.

  • Explain meanings, rules and exceptions.
  • Review draft definitions and proposals.
  • Bring examples you are authorised to share.

Who can contribute

You do not need data-modelling expertise. Your professional experience and judgement can help shape the work.

Professional, commercial and public-interest perspectives all matter. Choose the group closest to your experience.

What happens next

Registering is an expression of interest. OPDA reviews each submission and confirms the next steps. It does not automatically give membership or access.
