Your experience can improve property information
The Open Property Data Association (OPDA) is inviting estate agents and people involved in marketing and progressing property sales to help develop the Smart Property Data Trust Framework. The working groups are developing shared definitions for property information so that people can understand and exchange it more clearly.
Why it matters
Property information develops from instruction through marketing and sales progression. Buyers, sellers and other professionals need to understand what has changed and what remains uncertain.
Where your experience helps
Share what people need to know at each stage and where clearer information could reduce repeated questions or misunderstandings.
- Explain meanings, rules and exceptions.
- Review draft definitions and proposals.
- Bring examples you are authorised to share.
Who can contribute
You do not need data-modelling expertise. Your professional experience and judgement can help shape the work.
Professional, commercial and public-interest perspectives all matter. Choose the group closest to your experience.
What happens next
Registering is an expression of interest. OPDA reviews each submission and confirms the next steps. It does not automatically give membership or access.
